About Me

I was born a belgian/american in Belgium. Most of my time spent as a child I was either drawing or messing around with music. As I became older I delved deeper into both of these things by attending afterschool classes and enrollment to academies. I received a relatively classical training both artistically as musically, though it helped lay the foundations for my further developement. At the age of 14 I moved to California with my mother and sister, where the other half of my family resides. The next 4 years I spent going to high school and experiencing first hand american culture, which I must say, has helped shaped me into the person I am now. Though I was in a different culture my love for art and music didn't decline, if anything it exploded. I spent all my spare time (which I had a lot more of now, thanks to the good old american school system) working at the Youths Art Collective or messing around with sound and music. Close to my graduation I hit a major problem: What do I want to do with my life? After much time, and essentially a lot of luck and some coincidance I decided to study sound engineering. I flew back to Belgium to do an entrance exam to a very new music branch at the PHL of Hasselt. A few weeks later I received an email stating I was one of the 12 who had gotten a spot in the sound engineering department. So I moved back, and am now in my second year at school. I thoroughly enjoy working as a sound engineer, and am thus always looking for new projects to do. Though my main occupation is sound engineering, I still have my passion for art, and always try and make pieces whenever I get the chance. I like to work with all sorts of people, and feel confident in my ability to deliver good work in a positive fashion. I have no idea of what I intend to do after school, but I do not plan to be limited to only Belgium and the U.S.A.
